Dan was great, went out of his way to visit our offices to fix our intercom/door lock the day after I connected him.

Just had Dan round to fit me a Cudy mesh system. I can’t recommend him enough. my speeds in my conservatory was like dial up speeds now I’m getting 300+ Mbps download speeds.

Dan is a true professional at what he does. Came to the house and quoted for the job was polite and respectful of the property. After reviewing the quote we contacted Dan to install a cctv system and alarm . Both installed on the date and time advised he told me he would arrive ( it was raining on the day of instal no complaints from Dan and all work was professionally carried out) Once then install was complete and our CCTV programmed to the box he then gave clear, precise instructions on how to operate the system.
Following on from this we have recently had Dan back to the house to install a wireless network through the house that works perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan to and friends and family.
Dan was simply outstanding. We have had several experiences of CCTV installers previously, and when our home system failed, Dan diagnosed the problem, installed a new recorder and hard drive….and then diagnosed an issue with the cameras. At this point, other CCTV installers would have had a long intake of breath through gritted teeth and doubled the price. Not so Dan. He promptly installed functional cameras and got the system working again. Truly excellent value for money. On top of that, he communicates well, keeping you in the loop with decisions and progress and turns up when he says he is going to turn up. Don’t look any further for a CCTV installer!!

The old alarm we inherited with the house needed replacing. Dan was recommended to us by an electrician doing some other work for us. I only contacted him on the Monday and he turned up the following morning to have a look, even phoning me when he was on his way. There is no sales push, offering to replace the battery in the old system if we wanted. Due to the age of alarm and the poor sensors, we decided to go with the Ajax alarm. The turnaround is impressive, as he was able to install everything on the Friday morning and left my wife and I with a full demo of how everything works. I’m impressed by how modern and sleek the system looks and also that it was fitted by a nice and approachable guy who turned up when he said and did everything we asked.

Dan was professional and knowledgeable when discussing our needs and once we had decided what we wanted he kept us up to date every step of the way until arriving to fit our new security system. Dan arrived on time with a smile on his face and fitted everything with a high degree of attention to detail. After the installation was completed we went through everything in an easy to understand and comprehensive way meaning we were immediately at ease with everything. After encountering problems with our ageing alarm system, I contacted Dan. He attended the next day and after his advice and showing me what was currently on the market, I decided to have a new system fitted. Dan has fitted this today, 5 days after my initial contact. We are really pleased with our new system. Dan was professional, friendly and patient, in showing me and the family how to get the most out of the system. We had a crisis recently when our CCTV wouldn’t work properly and our provider had disappeared. After a quick search online I came across Cottingham CCTV and after reaching out Dan came out and solved the problems in no time. He has since been back to sort another problem which was done effortlessly and within a few minutes.

Dan is the man.
I rang Dan to see if could come and quote me for CCTV cameras not expecting that he would be at my house in 40 minutes on his way back from another job now that responsive.
When Dan got to my house I told him what I would I like and he came up with what I needed and at a price I liked.
Dan gave me a date that he would be coming. No the day it was raining very heavily, but Dan still came. I really take my hat off to him for that, many fitters would have cried off.
Dan fitted the CCTV and it’s totally fantastic, great quality.

Dan has done a fantastic job installing a complete alarm system, solar video doorbell and also upgraded the Wi-Fi system to provide excellent reception throughout the house and garage. We recently used Cottingham CCTV & Intruder Alarms to install CCTV at our home address and are very happy with the end result. Not only did Dan come round promptly to give us a quote, but he returned again to show us various cameras to choose from and explain his installation methods.
The installation was very neat, the cameras are good quality and there was no mess left over when he finished the job. He took time to show my partner how to use the app and access the cameras on the computer.
After the job was complete, Dan was still in contact with us checking everything was running ok. He also took time to assist with my app after I was having trouble using it on my phone.
I would use Cottingham CCTV again and happily recommend to others.

I have been looking for a CCTV solution for our new home and came across Cottingham CCTV via Facebook. I reached out to Dan on a Saturday, and he replied quickly and came to survey my home on the same day.
Dan reviewed what I was wanting. For the best security solution for my home, he proposed both CCTV and security alarm system to complement each other, reducing the cost of the CCTV for where it wasn’t required. By the Monday, Dan had confirmed the cost and agreed date of installation.
On the day of installation, Dan completed the install within the day – no mess or disruption. He gave useful training to my wife and I on how to use the system.
Aftercare service is great too – he followed up next day to see if the night setup worked as we expected.
Dan is a great example of why to go with local trade. I would recommend Dan and Cottingham CCTV for both domestic and business security needs.

We’ve just had a full CCTV and alarm system installed in our house and garage. Due to its complexity we also needed our internet modified and now get fantastic reception anywhere on the property. Beforehand our internet reception was patchy at best.
The whole system has taken a bit of getting used to because it’s quite complicated but Dan has been on hand to help us understand it all. His after care has been great.
We now feel that our property is much safer both when we are at home and away.
I strongly recommend at least having a chat with him if you have any security concerns.
